Pediatric denture
Pediatric denture is the industry of dentistry that is involved in monitoring health and dealing with the problems of the oral cavity of children and adolescents. Children’s teeth (neonatomy) show several differences from adult teeth and in addition the children’s oral cavity is in constant change, as the child develops and children’s teeth fall to the permanent place. Most important of all, however, is that the child himself is constantly moving to a different stage of development and abilities, perception of the world around him and aware of himself. In our clinic, we pay particular attention to prevention, acquiring proper eating habits and proper oral hygiene habits.
That’s why we take care of:
• Learning the right way of brushing to children
• Providing appropriate instructions to parents so that their children can oversee during brushing teeth
• Providing tips for proper nutrition
• The child’s integration into a preventive tooth monitoring program with regular fluoride and hole coverage in the first permanent teeth (preventive seals)
• Treatment of teeth wounds
• Orthodontic monitoring in collaboration with the responsible colleague for orthodontic care.
Fluorosis It is usually recommended to do every 6 months in the clinic. With the local application of fluoride we succeed in re -establishing the teeth, that is, we help repair some small caries lesion that is at a very early stage, without the use of a wheel. If the damage goes to a next stage, it needs to be sealing to intercept caries.
Preventive seals (sealant) .The first permanent bankers appear in the mouths of children at the age of 6 and do not change again. For this reason we protect these important teeth with a thin layer of white sealing, which comes and covers the grooves and tooth, all the surfaces where the foods are trapped and the caries begins. It is a simple, fast process, which is done without the use of a wheel and provides significant protection.
